"The operation of fuel cells in vehicles requires an appropriate supply of fuel and air for various load conditions. The necessary components and control strategies are tested on the vehicle/ test bench. For an efficient development of such control strategies, a model of the vehicle/ test bench in a Hardware-in-the-Loop environment is necessary. In this Master thesis such a model in a Hardware-in-the-Loop device needs to be implemented, verified and tested. This Master thesis covers the following tasks: - Adaptation of Matlab/ Simulink-model for a fuel cell system into a proprietary Hardware-in-the-Loop-System - Verification and testing of the implemented models. - Control of the fuel cell system model and the test bench model with another Hardware-in-the-Loop device."
