Abstract

"Scanning Nano-Imaging in the short wavelength regime requires a fast read out speed of the camera. One way to achieve this fast read out speed is to operate a Charged Coupled Device (CCD) in a Time Delay and Integration (TDI). The design and realization of the TDI system is described. The methodology of image acquisition in the TDI mode as well as the proof of principle of the system is documented. A comparison of imaging quality between the TDI mode and the standard full frame mode of the camera is given."
